How much compensation will I receive?

Every dental negligence claim is different. It is a complex area of law, but one that 'Direct 2 Solicitors' solicitors are experts in. They will obtain full details of your claim, collecting all of the evidence needed to support your claim and obtain the correct amount of compensation for you for your pain and suffering.

In addition, they will also recover your losses and expenses, from lost earnings to treatment to rectify the poor treatment you initially received.

Your 'Direct 2 Solicitors' solicitor will be able to advise you on the likely level of damages once initial evidence has been collected for you.

Medical Evidence

As part of your claim we will instruct a dental medical expert to examine the treatment you received from your dentist and to assess whether the treatment provided was at an acceptable standard or below it. This is the most important evidence and will assess the strength of your claim. It is one of the first steps taken by Direct 2 Solicitors to help you with your claim. We only use expert dentists to provide the medical evidence necessary to ensure your claim is dealt with in the best way possible and to give you the maximum chances of recovering compensation for your pain, suffering and expenses.

Making a claim against your dentist can be difficult. Often you will be concerned about the effect this will have on the dentist's future, or whether you can win a claim against a professional such as a dentist. You feel the odds will be stacked against you from the beginning of your claim. Rest assured all of these problems are overcome by 'Direct 2 Solicitors' solicitors on a regular basis.

If I claim against my dentist can I really win?

Yes. We have acted in many claims against dentists. They have a duty of care to ensure you are not injured by their treatment. If they do not reach this duty of care, you are entitled to claim against them for your injuries, losses and expenses.
We have helped many victims of dental negligence already. Contact us now to see how we can also help you.

Will the dentist lose their job

We appreciate that, despite suffering injury, many of our clients do not want to cause unnecessary difficulties for their dentist. Again, you do not need to worry. Your dentist must have insurance cover in place to cover the cost of any dental negligence claims made against him or her so they will be protected.
However, if the treatment they provide is well below the standards expected of their profession, they will be checked more carefully and made to improve or even prevented from practicing until they can reach the necessary standards.
In this case your claim could actually prevent other patients from experiencing the pain you have suffered.

How do I claim?

This is the easy bit. We do all of the work so you don't have to. All you need to do is pick up the telephone or complete our online claim form. We will do everything else needed to get your claim underway. We will visit you at a location that is convenient for you, whether that is at home or at work.
We will complete all of the necessary paperwork and guide you through every step of the way. We take pride in looking after you.
Even when we pass you onto our expert solicitor, we still keep in touch with you to ensure you are being well looked after.
