Leaving your compensation claim in the hands of your solicitor | Direct 2 Solicitors Leaving your compensation claim in the hands of your solicitor

Once you have found the right solicitor to deal with your compensation claim, they will get to work on putting a case together. You will need to be open and honest with your solicitor and tell him everything that happened to you. You shouldn’t be embarrassed about having an accident, it might have been traumatic but claiming for compensation should help to heal the wounds in some way. You need to remember that your solicitor is there to help you in every way they can and to make this process as smooth as possible.

The compensation that you are fighting for will cover all of the expenses you have incurred as a result of your accident. It will also award money punitively, which covers the trauma and stress that you have been put through as a result of the accident. Your solicitor will be able to explain in detail how the compensation is worked out.

There is no definite way of knowing how much compensation you will be rewarded. This varies on a case by case basis and is largely determined by the severity of your injuries both physical and emotional.
