The decisions of personal cases are still pending | Direct 2 Solicitors The decisions of personal cases are still pending

Anthony Duncan, a 27 year old British soldier, was shot in Iraq in 2005. He is now in Afghanistan fighting against the Taliban. He is also fighting a case in court against the UK government and claiming for the compensation over the personal injury he suffered.

In Afghanistan, the Light Dragoon, Anthony Duncan is in battle and in London the Ministry of Defence has appealed in the court for the compensation of his personal injuries in Iraq, 2005.

It took him 2 years to get back on duty and now, the Light Dragoon soldiers are in Afghanistan for six months. This is his first battle since the injury, where he was hit by a bullet in his left leg. This injury was very severe, as the bullet hit the femur and caused damage to the foot.

The Ministry of Defence told the court that compensation was given under the Reserve and Armed Forces Compensation Order, but the upper administration has made some wrong decisions. So, they want guidance from the court.

The final decision is still not declared by the court, but this decision will be one for all the personal injury cases.
